“Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the accommodations provided during my stay beginning on August 8, 2026. Upon arrival, we discovered that the lock on our assigned room was defective and could be opened without a key card, presenting a significant security concern. After demonstrating the issue to front desk personnel, we were reassigned to another room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was in an equally unacceptable condition, with visible……

“Excellent Host. Very helpful. Even offered to help us with our Luggage at 4 am for our early departure.”

“It's a quaint little unit and clean. Bathroom is actually just outside the unit and down the hall but it was a lrovate one just for us. The location is excelent but it was very loud. The street action just below our window went on until 3am both nights. Bring good ear plugs or you won't be sleeping much.”

“Nice clean property, would stay again.”

“This property is not accessible, the entrance is in the back to which I had to drag my luggage down a small slope and then across some gravel to get to the door. There was no step at the door so it was difficult for me to get my luggage up into the unit and then myself. The price increase from what you showed and then what I actually was charged was substantial and they only allowed less then 24 hours for cancellation.”

“The location is perfect for being close to Boardwalk. Kitchen great- appliances. Close to grocery store. Mold in corner of tub and superficial breaks in the lining of the tub. Very dim living room area— only 2 of 7 working bulbs in very high ceiling.”

“Conveniently located in the South End of downtown Halifax, this VRBO is in an amazing location. It’s a short walk to the waterfront, great restaurants, Queen’s Marque, and the Public Gardens. I enjoyed the area and felt very safe walking everywhere. The Blue George room looked generally like the listing, but the decor felt less refined in person than in the photos. There was no AC in this unit, but the fan worked well to cool the room. It may be helpful for travelers expecting a traditional……

“Wonderful property with great views and amenities. Many restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend purchasing the onsite parking but if you have a large vehicle be aware that the parking spots and adjacent walls are very tight, and maneuvering in and out requires care. On street parking can be found but not necessarily at the location. All that being said, we had a great stay and highly recommend this property.”

“Clean. Very well equipped and nicely decorated. New upscale appliances. The Queen size mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, bright, and wonderful. Fantastic downtown location just minutes walk to shops, pubs, dining, beach board walk. We could see the water from our 5th floor window. My wife said “perfect location” Classy condo building. Responsive host. There is new building construction next door. 7 am to 5 pm. I mention that as a fact …but the sound from the site was NOT……

“The place was amazing, a hidden gem. Having the luxury of free overnight parking was priceless. From the truck to the spot was mere feet to the back deck. The location is ideal for business travel and alike. This place brings you back to the old Victorian design with excellent natural light and high ceilings. This is the number one pick of the litter:))”
