Relax in Raider Land

Great house close to campus. Comfortable beds with all the amenities. Backyard with lots of space and tons of activities. If you are looking for an island oasis with tons of space for friends and family, look no further. We look forward to checking out a few other properties offered by this host in the future. The Island Stay Sept 7-9 2024.

The property was perfect for our family visiting Lubbock for our grand daughter's wedding. We had a total of 14 guests staying at the property for two nights. Very cordial host gave us a warm welcome. She met us upon our arrival and provided a tour of the property and information for all the amenities. She also recommended places in the area which may be of interest. The property is very clean and with many amenities provided. We would definately book this property again for future gatherings in Lubbock.

We were in town to attend funeral services. This home was perfect for our large family and with enough space so little ones could have their own space to sleep in their pack-n-plays. Beverly was kind enough to move as many items as possible so our grandchildren weren’t tempted to touch items they shouldn’t. The home was conveniently located for the services we needed to attend as well as convenient to many food options and easy access to and from the airport. The home was perfect for our stay in Lubbock.

Loads of Fun

We had loads of fun staying at the Island, even though we were there for our Dad's Celebration of Life Reception. We watched videos of Dad's life, cooked hamburgers on the grill, played dominoes on the outside tables, played darts, played cornhole, and ended the night at the fire pit. Loved the property. The outdoor tables and dart areas had great ambiance with the string lights, but would have been good to have better lighting for after-dark gaming. That is the only thing I would change about our stay. The property is set up well for awesome entertaining and visiting!

Best place in Lubbock to stay!

Such a cute place! You can tell that Beverly put so much thought, effort and love in decorating it and making sure her guests have all they need. Absolutely perfect for larger groups. The little bungalow in the back was great for us, since we had one couple with a dog. The backyard between the two structures was so enjoyable. We all had a ball, and Beverly was the best. Could not recommend more highly :-)

This home was perfect for us. We absolutely loved the back yard. I suggest you put anti-slip stickers in the showers. My dad(89 yrs old) almost fell in the shower and my 4yr old grandson did slip

Texas Tech Graduation

Perfect location for a weekend celebration for a Texas Tech graduate. The yard offered a fun place to relax and enjoy family without feeling crowed. All enjoyed the games provided and atmosphere. watch your step into the copa

Property over all is visually pleasing to the eye. We enjoyed our stay. However, the host could have pointed out some hazardous areas in the back of the main house. Starting with the stairs - would be nice to add some safety tape for better viewing of the stairs since the hall light did not work. We did have a person miss a step and fall. The restroom and bedroom to follow were not level. The restroom door did not close properly and one of the drawers in the back bedroom continued to open on its own due to the slanted floor. Both occupants in that room tripped over the open drawer. The outside patio was nice but had not been wiped down at all. We changed our outdoor plans to grill. Overall the stay was enjoyed by all and we will consider staying at this location again in the future.

What we needed

Great stay for our large group. The court yard was perfect for all of us to come together and fellowship. The host had thought of everything. We were in town for a not for an awful reason and the ease of having this spot made it a little easier. Wonderful!

Best place to stay in Lubbock!

This was such a great experience - I'll definitely be back. The owner met us there on arrival to show us around, which was really nice. There was plenty of space for everyone, my sister and her family went in on it together. Location was fantastic, so close to Tech. The couches were so comfy and the kids loved all of the streaming service available. We had so a good time and I can hardly wait to return. My teenaged son left his wallet accidentally and the owner went to a lot of trouble to get it back to us.
