Great stay

My husband and family with friends stayed for 3 weeks.A very comfortable apartment and will laid out. The location is excellent. Massimo was very attentive to our needs and a super host. I would recommend this listing.

Lovely apartment with private parking and use of the garden, a short walk from Porta Elisa. The owner Massimo was charming and could not have been more helpful. The description and photos on the website accurately describe the property. We really enjoyed our visit to Lucca which is a beautiful walled city with many interesting buildings, lots of restaurants and good shopping.

Beautiful retreat in Lucca

Perfect place for a family. Host was wonderful and attentive. House was beautiful decorated and furnished. It had everything we needed. It was lovely to come home every night. Easy to visit Pisa and Florence as well.

Wonderful place in Lucca

This is a must stay. Location is perfect - near grocery store, train station and gate to walled city. Massimo is the perfect host. Very friendly and informative. We had a great trip!

The home was just as described and beautiful. The indoor spaces were comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor spaces were wonderful to relax in the cool shade and especially for the children. We had everything we needed and the dryer was a bonus! We enjoyed being outside the walls where it was more relaxed and with options like a large grocery a couple blocks away and several great restaurants 1 to 2 blocks away. Massimo was a great host and hopefully we will get to return!

Perfect stay for a family of 5

The property is beautiful and well kept. The location was great for our family- it is a short walk to the walled city of Lucca, there is a Lidl close by, and the train station is a 15 minute walk from the home. Massimo was the best host possible and we loved our time there.

Lucca Apartment - the Hidden Gem in Tuscany

Great first visit to this area. We were a group of 3 older women who aren't afraid of walking and touring. The property is excellently located for the walled city and the host could not be more charming. He was on hand to meet us and explain the house rules and recycling. Privacy in the apt and the garden. We could have bicycled too but did not have time. A wonderful stay and a lovely apartment, very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Parking on site and very secure.

Incredibly helpful owner

The property is lovely. Also bear in mind that there are about 30 steps to get into the apartment.Even more important is that the owner of the property could not have been more helpful. He explained everything to us clearly and at the end offered to drive us to the train station. He’s an incredibly helpful man. My only criticism is that it’s a step below luxury but it was perfectly fine for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Massimo was very helpful, knowledgeable about the area with great dining recommendations and Very accommodating. The home is beautiful and just as described. Wish we were staying longer to enjoy all of its amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week in Lucca

We had a great stay at this apartment. Massimo is a wonderful host. Very reponsive and the apartment was perfect for our group of 6 adults (3 couples). It is very close to the wall around Lucca so we walked there many times. It has a safe parking spot and it is also very close to the train station. We made a daytrip to Florence. The house had everything we needed. We can recommend this apartment to everyone. Please note that it is on the first floor but for us that was no problem at all. Thank you Massimo for a wonderful stay!

Amazing property and Host

Amazing apartment just a few minutes walk to the gate of lucca. Massimo was a wonderful and helpful host. Parking inside the property meant we didnt have to worry about finding a spot etc. Would highly recommend this place. We stayed in late fall / early winter and the power cost was approximately $15 per day for heat etc. So please budget this in your cost. Very comfortable and elegant property.

Great location in Lucca

The apartment has everything you need for a great stay, if you want to cook a few meals the kitchen is set up for it. The parking is great this close to the wall, as we always rent a car when traveling. Massimo is wonderful to chat with and he is extremely helpful with any questions.

Amazing Property

Our family of two parent, two teens and Mimi, grandmother, me, stayed in this beautiful apartment for 2 weeks. We were greeted in person by the owner and taken to our third floor apartment. We walked through a lovely patio for our personal use and up three sets of marble stairs. We entered the spaciuous, immaculate apartment and shown how to use what we needed. some things to note are that the washing machine does not spin dry like ours at home so we decided to ahnd wash what was needed and hung it on the balcony rack to dry. The refrigerator was not as cold as what we have at home, but certainly not a problem. The apartment was a short walk to an entrance to the city, which was beautiful. We rented bikes to tour the city wall, a must do. There were four bikes that were for use with the apartment, but since there were five of us we decided to rent in Lucca. There was a well stocked marked only a block or two away. Public transportation was easily accessible. To say that this was a five star rating with the owner always accessible and helpful is an understatement. Do not hesitate to rent this property. We loved every moment!

It was too short a stay in Lucca..

Massimo was such a great host! The property is elegant, extremely convenient to the Center City and includes a parking area. The kitchen is cheerful and inviting. It is a prefect retreat from a busy day of touring. We plan to return.

Lovely Lucca apartment!

This apartment is a very short walk to the historical old walled city of Lucca and shops for any necessities. It’s nicely furnished, with very clean and updated bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen. The owner,Massimo, was informative regarding the local area and immediately responsive to any of our questions. There is a washer and a dryer, and 4 bikes for use by renters, and of course off street parking. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others. The only extra charges are the tourist fee of 7.50€ per person and a utility charge for useage during your stay, both of which are paid in cash. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Magnificent

The property was magnificent! The property had everything you needed. The home was beautifully decorated and immaculate. It was walking distance to the walled city of Lucca, the grocery store and an amazing bakery. Massimo was an excellent host, gave us good recommendations and knows the area very well.
