The Chateau was well worth the stay. Beautiful panoramic views. These views were available whether you were at the restaurant, bar or your room there’s just nothing like it.
What an iconic place to stay. We loved every minute of it! The room was beautiful and the hotel bar was so lovely. The restaurant was the least awesome part…food was just slightly above average…it should get better to stay up to par with the restaurant of the property.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed. The staff were very accommodating and the gentleman at the concierge, who helped us with our luggage was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The views are stunning and the hotel itself was just beautiful.
Your hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed
Staff exceptional and food at the restaurant incredible
Thank you for a delightful stay hope to be back soon

No coffee/tea in room unless you ask for it.
travelled with 2 others in separate rooms, same rate, same dates. each room different. One had balcony with sweeping views, one had no A/C, one was in the basement/dungeon no views. Terrible value for cost. All hype because of amazing views and hotel location. Bed uncomfortable. We were in a 2-level room with closet in the lower level. Would not go back.
Best views of Lucerne from the hotel. Centrally located within walking distance to most of city center attractions, restaurants and shopping. Funicular on the premises made it even more convenient to access the city. Prefect place to view and enjoy Lake Luzern.
What a treat to stay in such a beautiful hotel. The rooms were great with a large terrace overlooking the lake.
We had a couple of small issues with our room which were dealt with very quickly and to our complete satisfaction.
Lots of stairs from the Funicular but gorgeous property overlooking Lucerne.
Beautiful views of Luzern from the room. Kind staff and very beautiful room

This a beautiful old property with amazing views. Top 5 worst bed i have ever had (i travel alot). Restaurant made no attempt to accommodate us. Stairs were a bit suspect in the rooms. They charge a 40 chf deposit for umbrellas. The rooms arent bad for the most part. The bar has an amazing view. This place could be a lot better.
Beautiful location, BUT..... Mediocre breakfast with very limited selection. All hotel info is electronic and unfortunately the tv receptionwas terrible. Programs, etc. were fading in and out. Laundry lost sock, with no acknowledgement. Poor lighting in room. No hot water one morning with mo warning. Found out later that the whole hotel had no hot water. Due to location no taxis nearby.
Good side was that the room was very clean.
Absolutely beautiful unique hotel with funicular going right to the hotel. Beautiful views of the city. Very good restaurant but insanely expensive (not unlike the rest of Switzerland). Only complaint is the lack of AC. Not great to visit during a heat wave, we were unable to sleep well in our room. They provided a small fan but it wasn’t sufficient in 30+ heat. Otherwise very nice.
The chateau is beautiful. And the view from the patio is amazing. We loved that we could hop on and off of public transportation because we were guests at the hotel. Check in was easy, and the gentleman who checked us in was friendly and very knowledgeable about the city and recommended how we should spend the day.
We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were beautifully decorated, the bed was super comfortable, the views were spectacular and the staff was fantastic.
