I booked this hotel because is located in Littau, just a 6 minutes ride in train to Luzern. The train station is walking distance from the hotel. It was a great option and cheaper than staying in downtown Luzern. I totally recommend this place. Also, we were lucky enough to get an upgrade which was great!!!

Although it was a bit of a walk from the railway station, the setting was in the country and very peaceful. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, but the restaurant at the hotel served a very fine meal.

The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, it’s conveniently located near the train station, and the breakfast is good. The only thing I didn’t like was that the room doesn’t have air conditioning. It’s comfortable at night, but it can get really hot during the day. If you leave the window open, the noise from outside can make it difficult to sleep. Overall, though, it’s a great place to stay for one night.

Staff provides a train ticket downtown which is great, but they don’t inform you that it is in 2nd class, which could lead to a hefty fine if you sit in 1st class unknowingly. It happened to us. They should have informed us
