Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Everything was fine in terms of rooms and breakfast, as well as the service; however, the hotel structure itself needs to be modernized a bit.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was a beautiful stay for us. The hotel is in a really nice location, personnel is polite and friendly, breakfast was also very good.
The only observation is that many areas and furniture look very old, and like they are on their last days of usability. I imagine soon they will need to go under big renovations
Staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the pool was great. Park Hotel Principe is a sister hotel to the much more elegant Park Hotel Leopold across the street. You should definitely walk over there and enjoy the view from the bar. Bar / Bistro is still very expensive but the view is awesome.
The staff were great and the hotel has big rooms! The only thing is that the prices for a water (CHF 4) AND breakfast (CHF 35/person) are way expensive. You better eat somewhere else. ;)
The size of the room was perfect, large comfortable bed and terrace .
The carpet, however, of the bedroom and the entrance need cleaning.
The hotel is situated up the hill and the driving is not that easy.
I recently stayed at the Park Hotel Principe during a business trip and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's natural surroundings are absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and serene environment. Its proximity to the university was incredibly convenient for my work commitments.
The staff at the hotel were exceptional, with special mention to Ms. Barbara from the front office, who was super kind and helpful throughout my stay. Her warm hospitality made my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lugano, whether for business or leisure.

Disliked: Staff & service
No signage to indicate where rooms are
This is a self service hotel and it took me 20 minutes to find my room. There is absolutely NO signage.
The room was large, slightly tatty and reasonably comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the staff were polite.
I can't believe they don't leave a map to show where rooms are.
Please see concierge Giorgio when visiting. He is very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make my stay easy and enjoyable. Thank you, Giorgio!
The hotel is nice, gives you a Swiss version of northern Italy. And the house is very very spacious
Overall the facility is nice but needs some polishing as it is old
It is part of a big hotel nearby
