The space
Welcome to our serene river cottage, where your relaxation is our top priority. We hope to be the hub for all of your Shenandoah adventures! This 3 bedroom home can house up to 6 guests comfortably. We also know how important pets can be on your trips so we do allow them, but for a small additional cleaning fee.
This house is designed to ensure family fun and relaxation or be a serene couples getaway from the city. Enjoy the many games we provide, both for adults and children. The giant screened in porch is perfect for all seasons. You can enjoy an outdoor movie experience with the large projector, stay warm with the fire pit table, and play games while getting cozy on the large outdoor sectional all the while being graced with views of Shenandoah National Park.
Bedrooms:
There are three private bedrooms in the house. The primary bedroom boasts a queen sized bed with a beautiful accent wall and gallery picture wall. The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed with a gallery picture wall. Both of these rooms offer water carafes to keep you comfortable throughout the night. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with full and twin mattresses. All rooms have a wireless charger to keep you connected.
Living room:
The living area is the perfect spot for everyone to sit back and relax. A smart TV is available for you to stream all of your favorite shows and movies. A record player is seated next to the TV where you can play any music you'd like-we have set out our favorite records that fit the vibe of the area, but you can also connect to the player via Bluetooth and play whatever you want! The dining area can seat the whole family for game nights and delicious food.
Kid stuff:
Being parents ourselves, we understand just how much you have to travel with. We offer a booster seat for dinner time, a pack n' play, and a stroller! These can all be found under the bunk bed. We also provide a baby monitor and sound machine to keep the really littles ones happy.
Driveway:
Please note that while we maintain the driveway in the winter, it is very steep so an all wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire home.
