Great hotel at a very convenient location with lots of parking space. East Park Shopping mall is just five minutes walk. The big outdoor screen with authentic Italian pizza is perfect to catch up with all the latest sports events. The Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant serve super delicious food. So addictive.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 4 years or so. It is a pity that Hotels.com has not always offered rooms, instead I have had to book through a competitor. It is very convenient, very close to East Park shopping mall. The hotel itself offers reasonable value with a guarded car park, though maintenance of the rooms need to be improved.

The grand palace was truly a great hotel to stay in. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The location was great. The one drawback for us was the safe was on the very bottom and was impossible to get to unless you got down on the floor and for us older people that was impossible to do.

Main problem is that in the details the cleanliness could and should be better: especially the joints between the tiles. And wow: does it take long before the water in the shower becomes comfortable...

Poor service by front desk staff. When I extended my stay forced me to switch rooms to a smaller one and told me I had paid for different rooms. Both times I had paid for standard rooms. They also tried to change an agreed rate on me. Sheets were unchanged for 3 days. You always have to ask for extra towels. Food was not great. Wouldnt book again.
