I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner was incredibly generous and genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve met—he went out of his way to make sure everything was comfortable and enjoyable. You can really tell he cares about his guests. The price was also very affordable for the quality of the stay, which made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

We booked the royal apartment for a full week , it’s on the West Bank very close to everything ( Valley of the kings , Hatschbesut and Habu temple etc ) Very spacious clean apartment, very friendly staff. I went on a pilgrimage to Dendera Temple which was sublime. The dinners i had at the hotel were Michelin star quality … so authentic and flavorful The host snd staff were friendly and engaging and helped me navigate the city and kept me safe.

Cet hôtel sera probablement un petit havre de paix une fois les travaux terminés... Malheureusement, nous sommes tombés en plein travaux, ils avaient juste réussi a préparer notre chambre à temps. Même si le manager s'est excusé plusieurs fois, ce n'était pas très confortable de tomber dans ses travaux. La piscine n'était aussi pas prête lors de notre visite. La chambre était très bien et très grande. Seuls points négatifs: le petit déjeuner n'était en faite pas inclus et la localisation est un peu limitante.

It is located at the edge of the Valley of the Kings. There is an unobstructed and wonderful view of the mountains. The entry area is spacious and decorated nicely. The rooms have high ceilings and are equiped with fans or A/C units and have good bath and kitchen areas. The residential area is teaming with the life of Luxor and you are enveloped by the sounds for the call to prayer throughout the day and evening. Being there is an enriching experience.

Es un hospedaje completamente nuevo, en las afuera de Luxor que en realidad este aspecto puede ser piedra angular para la calificación de cada estadía, para mi familia resultó ser increíble ya que es un lugar tranquilo y sereno dentro del caos que son las ciudades importantes dentro del país. Luxe accommodation in Luxor

The royal mountain hotel is managed by a lovely gentleman. He made our stay feel safe and comfortable. The room we had was very spacious for our family of 5. The pool is nice and refreshing after a long day. The hotel is located in the west bank so close to the valley of the kings and the Hatsheput temple. This place felt like home and we loved our stay here. There is not many restaurants near the hotel but with a bit of notice the manager can organise food served at the terrace. Thanks Khudri for your hospitality and assistance over our stay. We hope to be back again one day in the future.

Fabulous hotel and great experience very close to Luxor and all its monuments. We had the family suite which plenty of space and beds for us 5. Everything was perfect. The host was super kind and friendly and, even if late, proposed us a super dinner on the rooftop at the 3rd store. Incredible views early this morning of the big balloons in the blue-sky above the Kings valley and the desert. Amazing

Globalement satisfaisant, l'hôte nous a proposé plusieurs activités. Les chambres sont correct, elles sont très bien équipés. Le petit coin piscine est agréable. Là où nous avons étaient surpris c'était sur la nourriture, le menu ne paraissait pas fameux, pourtant la nourriture s'est avérée juste délicieuse . Nous avons très bien mangé à un prix très raisonnable. Conclusion un hôtel modeste pour des souvenirs inoubliables.

Well, this is out of the way, for those who want or love the peace and quiet of country air and life. Transportation is available to any of the historic sites, or market, or grocery-store, or take-away food shops. Souvenirs are abundant at the Valley of the Kings area before entering the gate, but you will need to work hard to get really great bartered prices. Walk away, and the price will come down! From this hotel, you will have access to whatever you would like in the beautiful ancient city of Thebes/Luxor. We arrived by bus from Cairo for $9.00 each, which is a wonderful price in 2025! and the hotel is very inexpensive...we spent 10 days there and will definitely be back for a longer stay of peace and quiet and rest and watching Christian videos with our phone internet or their internet service. Our room was large, beautiful, and modern, and the owner was very hospitable and willing to do anything for us! One warning: there are semi-dangerous dogs around the region of Luxor, so use the Rick-shaws or taxis, or keep a pocket full of rocks to chase off and away the dogs, and never touch their puppies!

A West Bank Gem

We had a great stay at Royal Mountain Hotel on the West Bank. We were very happy with the bright, new, large accommodation. As a family of five we had tons of room to stretch out. The pool area is very nice as is the roof top. The owner and staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. It’s also very close to Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s temple and other West Bank sights. There is a new bridge which connects the West Bank to Luxor’s downtown so it is easy and quick to get between the two. We definitely recommend the Royal Mountain Hotel.
