“Completely detached barn. Very warm despite the weather being awful. Easy to find. Lovely layout. Had everything we needed and location was excellent , between Oakhampton and Tavistock. Very powerful shower and comfy couches and bed. Great size private garden but pity we couldnt sit out much but still very enjoyable”

“Lovely ‘simple self-catering’ in the heart of Dartmoor. Great set of appliances to have a nice coffee and brekky in bed! Coffee and non-dairy milk included - thank you Terry :) we really enjoyed our stay and had a super sleep. The hot tub looked inviting but the weather was just a bit too miserable for us to venture out there. Next time!”

“A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. She worked wonders our rooms was spotless. We had a lovely stay with a great breakfast. Will definitely go back. We had three rooms and ”

“Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history”

“Breakfast good choice, poached eggs overdone and staff cheerful. Paper thin walls mean you hear every small noise so not great. Lovely grounds to walk in and the nearby Rock Inn pub well worth a visit.”
