"Very clean, owner welcoming. windows are unable to be opened due to the scaffolding around the building, but this was the only flaw. Rooms are simple and comfy, aircon was a welcomed amenity. Close to MTR links, cafes, restaurants and shops. The outside looks a little intimidating but there is 24/7 security and everything is only accessible by keycard. "I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. There is mold, rust, bed bugs, a terrible smell, and my room had a constant drip going from the ceiling. Men stand outside of the location harassing you daily as you come in and out.
