Quality Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"Staff very friendly! Room needed a bit of love , you can tell it was being slowly renovated. But overall very clean."
Hampton Inn by Hilton Sydney
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived in the middle of a fall rain and were welcomed by the front desk. The room was great but the hotel was connected by pedestrian to a restaurant that was even better. The next morning we enjoyed a great complimentary hot breakfast."
Comfort Inn Sydney - Cape Breton

"The staff were so nice and the room was newly renovated"
Fortress Inn Louisbourg

"Wifi was spotty, kept disconnecting, check-in was sketchy, no one around and when we found someone I got the wrong receipt. Room was clean and well stocked. Tub tap dripped."
Beachfront 4 bedroom home directly on the Mira River
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our 3 night stay in your lovely cottage, next time we will have to stay longer. Catherine was very helpful, and quick to respond to any questions I had."
LUX Sydney Retreat | 3BR,2BA Home with Deck & BBQ
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely, comfortable home in Sydney River. We stayed with our three teenage kids for three nights while visiting family at various locations on Cape Breton. Convenient location, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We would stay here again!"
Rita's Retreat: The Bachelor ~ Indoor Saltwater Pool ~ with Lake View!

"Great spot for a mini vacation"
Fiddler's Lake Escape Vacation Apartment
8/10 Good
"The waterfront with gazebo, paddle boat, canoe and sitting area are the main attraction at this basement suite. Unfortunately, we were rained out for 3 full days and spent our time inside, so offer that perspective. The kitchen is well-equipped. WIFI is good. We found the seating (1 love seat, 3 backless kitchen stools) somewhat uncomfortable for long periods of sitting (to read, for example). Upstairs noise is easily heard downstairs (footsteps, TV, vacuuming, flushing toilet drains). Washer and dryer are appreciated but these are setup in the kitchen. A full mattress is also stored in the kitchen. A TV screen would be most helpful for rainy days. The hosts are friendly and were responsive to a water leak. Games, puzzles and books are provided. Recommended for sunny stays."

"This place worked for us, and was on a very lovely property. Needs a bit of tending."
