“Great property, super clean, was well stocked, and had everything we needed. Co-op was round the corner or we walked to the local Tesco. Would highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Beautiful, cosy two bed cottage, there was a double room and a room with bunk beds (plus a sofa bed we didn't use). Beds were comfortable, decor was nice, the area is very quiet and was easy to find. We had everything we needed, the ground coffee and milk sachets was a great touch. We really enjoyed the terrace overlooking the canal, but it's worth mentioning the steps to the terrace are shallow and steep, so not easy to navigate if any mobility issues - though there is a hand rail and we……

“The property was reasonably priced and as advertised. The manager was helpful as I was stupid, groggy, tired after camping and a long hike with my daughter upon approaching the property. The property manager really helped us out. I also met the cleaner of the property one of the most real and down to earth people you could ever meet. Who definitely deserves a pay rise, even more so when cleaning up after people like me. All positive notes, there's nothing negative that I could even make up.……

“The house was a surprise, covering 3 floors. Amazing bathroom and very spacious bedrooms. Rrally clean and welcoming. Short walk into Buxton.”

“Enjoyed the stay here.Parking was a little busy but location was very handy for getting in and out of Stockport.Host very good with communication.”

“This was a nice house for our family. Very close to the airport. Easy check in process. Great host. ”

“Strategic place, convenient and smart ”

“I had to stay here for a month and was happy with the stay. I loved that the park was across the road. The mattress wasnt comfortable (very hard) in the master bedroom and the sofa wasnt comfortable but I got used to it. It was super clean and would stay there again.”

“The Gathering house is on a nice location in Buxton. Near the center of the village. It is near Peak District, which is a beautiful environment. The house has enough rooms and bathrooms for a lot of people.”

“Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. This is a hygiene issue that should not be present in a paid short-term let. The sofa in……

“The house was in a nice area and was very comfy to stay in. Had all you could need.Communication with the hosts was great. However, although lovely to speak to, they were quite cheeky as AFTER booking and paying in full, we were asked to additionally pay either a non-refundable damage deposit or a 'large' refundable deposit which was NOT mentioned in the description. Having these hidden costs spoilt the booking process and felt a little unsettling.”

“comfortable accommodation that does exactly what it says on the tin. parts of the property showed signs of wear and tear, however it did not affect our stay, and for the price we were content. convenient location close to a bus stop to take you to manchester city centre. the host was very communicative, and arranged for”
