「I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. 」

「The garden area felt like a little slice of paradise with bunnies running around freely helping to maintain the grass - as well as donkeys. Monkeys were climbing in the trees, and occasionally a large turtle would cross the lawn. The place itself was very calming and the staff sweet and helpful.」

「We arrived for a late check in and staff was there to greet us. That was a very nice touch. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and amenities adequate. We were given a room with the view of Kilimanjaro which was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again. 」

「Incredible in every way, it’s an oasis in the sand. We loved everything from the pool to the gym to the food but what makes it all stand out is the staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure every need you have is met, they are kind and remember you from day to day which felt like an extra special touch.
