“The only problem worth noting in my 2 stays ( before and after a 13 day safari) was the inability of the property to process credit cards. This required much more cash than travelers are accustomed to carrying.”

“Decent mid-range hotel in convenient location in city centre of Arusha…main drawbacks are inaccuracies Expedia lists for this hotel. Even with paid upgrade to Premium room, we found no hair dryer nor safe nor robes—despite Expedia listing all of those as standard with the rooms. This place is not “premier”; but it’s friendly, convenient, safe, and with decent full breakfast included. ”

“This is a really nice hotel the rooms were basic but clean. The roof top bar gave this an extra something but bar far the best thing about this hotel was the staff, they went the extra mile to make sure your stay was comefortable, they greeted me by name by the end of the first day. It felt like a lovely family. If I am in Moshi again I will definitely stay here again! ”

“The people that work at Stella Maris are wonderful and really set this place apart from other options. I stayed here for 6 nights around a Kilimanjaro trek and it was a very comfortable and warm stay. The staff are friendly and caring and it very quickly felt like my home away from home. The food was also delicious and I appreciated the mission of the hotel+school. If I'm ever back in the Moshi/Arusha area, I'll be looking to stay here again. “Für 1 Nacht vor der Safari gebucht, war es gut. Allerdings 2 DZ gebucht und wurden in einem Bungalow( mit je 1 Bad) untergebracht. Anlage war schön, Essen sehr gut und Personal sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen, aber sicher.”

“We really enjoyed our time here. The view from our room was remarkable, making it memorable. Check in could have been smoother there was a little confusion so it took longer which we wanted to start our game drive and had a short delay. It was fixed quickly, they were accommodating, we are grateful they fixed us a quick lunch which was after their normal hours so we could eat before going into Amboseli NP.
