Fantastic location for visiting Madison students

We came into town for a girls weekend with our students at UW Madison. We had a fantastic stay here. The property was spotless. The views were beautiful. Our girls stayed with us. The location is perfect and easy to Uber from downtown Madison. A very safe and quiet location. We will definitely stay here again when we come back into town.

Great time at the lake!

Grwat place to have a family gathering! Enjoyed the dock, the deck for outside meals and our granddaughter loved the games.

Relaxing Lakeside Stay, Good for Families

Jake’s place was perfect for our stay, as it was a relaxing, clean and a nice home. The two floor layout worked especially well for our infant daughter so she had a quiet place to sleep, while we could cook and hang out in the living room. The only suggestion to the host is to install curtains along the picturesque sliding doors for a bit of extra privacy at nighttime.

Perfect for a quiet family stay!

The house was perfect for the 4 adults we had staying. Adorable house; extremely clean and great location. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was spacious enough for us to make dinner one of the nights. Highly recommend!

Visiting Madison for a Wedding

We had a short but fun and comfortable stay here in October. We were close to both the wedding venue and Camp Randall for the Badger game. The family loved the time together hanging out between activities. The location provided a great space for family pictures too. . Easy to find

A lovely house!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The house was nicely decorated and extremely clean. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Shower was great. A perfect place for our group of friends to spend a long weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Psu beat Wisconsin yeah!

Overall a very good place Close to all we wanted to do. House clean with all we needed. View out the back of house of lake beautiful! Only negative may me front of house on a very busy road .

Business Trip

We needed a rental for our employees to stay at while working at a job in the area. This unit was perfect as men usually don't mind sharing a room but not a bed and this unit had separate beds for our 5 employees. They enjoyed the comforts of home while away from their families. Jake was helpful and provided all the information we needed and made check in and checkout very simple. We had to book in weekly intervals and they were able to accommodate this type of booking which was very helpful.

Lake Monona gem!!

The accommodations were accurately reflected by the owner. This husband and wife team were very responsive with inquiries. The many updates to this property make the property highly functional and it's location to the campus and State are convenient.

Family wedding

Jake, owner, was wonderful! He responded quickly, was extremely informative regarding dinner venues and places of interests. Our home was close to wedding venue, and centrally located for points of interest. The patio was beautiful to sit outside overlooking the River. It was mid century vibe which was unique. We enjoyed our stay and perfect wedding weekend!!

Madison experience and fishing/boating fun

Updated and clean home with access to the Yahara River for fishing and boating. The location allows for quick access to Madison’s best attractions. We took in a Mallards baseball game, visited the Cave of the Mounds, the Memorial Union Terrace, Capital City bike paths and there was so much more to do and see if we had stayed more than 4 days. Great place to stay if you enjoy treating your family to lake life and all the activities that Madison offers.

Wedding Day Bliss

We rented this house to get ready for my daughter's wedding. The house was perfect, very clean & in an awesome location. Jake was very easy to work with! He ensured our morning went perfect for the big day ahead. Rent this property! You won't regret it!

Great deck on river

We had a great time utilizing the outdoor deck space at the is property! It also had a spacious kitchen and a fun game-themed living space. We were a little bummed that the river water at the dock was green, making it less enticing to use the kayaks and canoe provided but I’m not sure how the property owner could control that. Location was walking distance from some fun bars and restaurants and a short drive to Madison. Close to bike trails too!

Wonderful location and views, and comfortable house!

We were a family of four, and we really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage on the Yahara River. The three bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable, with nice ceiling fans. The living room is fairly spacious, with a comfortable sitting area and a large TV for watching family movies. We loved having a private dock where my son loved to go fishing. The owners were super friendly and helpful, and their communication was excellent! We loved using the kayaks that came with the property, and had fun boating to local restaurants and bars. This house is also walking distance to several restaurants and cafes. Overall, we stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely Lakeside Home

The best thing about this house is its proximity to Madison in general and to the river. I loved taking a kayak out on the river around sunrise. Really beautiful. It's close to many fun activities in Madison too. The house itself is comfortable. Hosts are responsive and helpful. Kitchen is lovely. One helpful tip is that this house is on a busy street. There is some traffic noise at night. Not a huge deal but I wish I had known ahead of time and prepared for it. Overall a good place with lovely hosts.

Perfect Getaway

Fantastic few days with our daughter, son-in-law and three grandkids3-8. Loved the house. Location just down the block from great boat launch. Dock at house was a perfect spot to tie up our boat. The deck was perfect for family meals and so great for evening gathering. Kids loved the huge wall Connect Four and the foosball table. Enjoyed kayaking on two provided kayaks. House is decorated very nice. Took many pics for inspiration. Parking was enough for our boat trailer and three more vehicles. Host was super responsive. All needs were met. They thought of everything.

Fantastic fall trip to the Madison area, great for families!!

We had an amazing experience with the host and this property. First, the house is extremely well stocked, meticulously clean & well-kept, and delivers on everything the listing says it would. We traveled with three younger children (ages 4-7) and the house was the perfect fit for our family for a long weekend stay. In particular, we absolutely loved the waterfront access and enjoyed the beautiful backyard porch and firepit. As part of our stay, we sent a lot of time in downtown Madison and the UW campus. The house is conveniently located close to the highway and we had a very easy – and short – drive to all parts of the city. The host (Jake) was incredibly invested in making sure our stay was the best possible. He was proactive, and very prompt, with his communication. Additionally, he helped us with some logistics for our trip that were outside the nature of staying at the property. Will absolutely being staying here again on our next trip to the Madison-area!
