Terrible before we even got there. We tried to cantact them via Expedia chat and WhatsApp several days before and no response untill we got to the property. We didnt know it was self check-in and we werent the only ones. When we got in we saw a couple get in to their assigned room using their code just to find there was still someone else inside wich means they dont reset  their passwords everytime a new guest comes in. In our case the room was made with super cheap furniture and appliances. The bed was sunken, the pillows were super high and hard, there was a hose leaking in the roof of the barthroom, a green light that kept turned on at night AND you could hear the other rooms. This is not a hotel, hostel or anything. Its a cheap automated airbnb with no person taking real responsabilty.

Excellent customer service! Called to report that my air conditioning was not working and switched to another room straight away after we confirmed over the phone that we were not able to get the ac working. When booking through Expedia though, I recommend calling in advance to make sure your email was communicated in the booking as this is how they send the check in information.

Great Place to Stay for Solo Female Traveler

I was very happy with my stay. I had a slight issue getting in to the building because my email was glitching but the hotel staff was very helpful on the phone to help me get in to the building, my room, and check in. The hotel does not have a lobby and a desk. If you are checking in after 6pm make sure you check your email for information. They were very understanding. The building could use better marking. The hotel and rooms are very nice and I felt comfortable there as a young, solo, female, traveler. It is a 20-30 minute walk to central Madrid.
