Great location, service and room

The location is great, center to a lot of places and to metro stations. The room was clean and comfortable. The employees always at service and happy to serve. The only thing to improve is the bathroom. It is very small on the toilet space, a large person would not be able to seat. Also, it needs a place inside the shower to put the soap and shampoo.

Very central accomodation with a lift/elevator.

Very basic accomodation and very very central. There is an elevator which is a big bonus. Very close to the King's Palace and the Opera Theatre. Windows are double glazed so very little noise comes from outside. Receptionists were very welcoming

Wonderful stay!

It was a great stay! Location was wonderful, a few minutes to the Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real. Lots of food places too. Staff was amazing. They even schedule at taxi for me with pick up at 5 am!! Very kind and helpful staff. Loved it! Fully recommended!

Excellent location and good price

Very reasonably priced stay in centre of Madrid. Very friendly staff and 24 hour reception. Daily housekeeping with shampoo/shower gel and fresh towels. Slightly on the noisy side and can hear other guests in their rooms and can hear front doorbell from the room. Slightly disappointed that you need to pay €1 each time you need to use the room safe.

Noisy and overpriced.

The staff were lovely and the location was great but that’s where it stops. The room was well overpriced even for a major city. The bathroom was tiny and there was a smell that was present in the bathroom every morning. The bathroom sink was tiny. The beds were ok, pillows very hard. There were no amenities such as a kettle. The Hostal was very noisey through the night and the corridor light came on frequently. The walls were very thin and you could hear the next room. Overnight stay only for convenience. However, on the upside there was restaurants and shops all around and tourist spots were within easy walking distance.
