「We had a great stay. One of the best value hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Yes it could do with some TLC but for the price we paid, more than happy. Great breakfast and the spa was super.」

「Very central, convenient location. Extremely spacious room and bathroom. Well thought out extras, such as wine glasses, corkscrew, first aid kit. Extremely nice gesture of breakfast and juice. Fresh milk. We got there slightly early, I phoned and asked if it would be ok to check in, answered promptly and no problem with early check in. Free on-street parking very nearby. The beach at The Mumbles is not far and very picturesque. Thoroughly recommend Patrick’s Boathouse.」

「Nice little B&B a few yards from the course at Clyne. Small but well appointed twin rooms and a delicious full breakfast served in the clubhouse. Staff and members very hospitable and all four in our party very pleased and would happily stay again. 」

「We used the hotel as a base to tour Barry island and go to a concert in Cardiff. Staff were excellent and very helpful. It was the hottest week of the year so far and the inside rooms were roasting. Perfect spot to tour Barry and surrounding area, 5mins walk down hill from a Wetherspoons and centre. Hotel was good value for what we paid. Bar was open till 1am but quiet」
