“The hotel is in a very old, charming, building with an interior that almost brings to mind colonial times. That said, it is showing some wear and tear and the old heating system was definitely keeping things toasty despite the cold weather.
Staff was excellent and very friendly and most, but not all, could communicate in English.

“Great place to stay. Great staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Only caveat is at the moment (26 September 26) the hotel is adding a large extension to the building so there was a lot of building work noise till 6.30pm and it started again at 9am. Because of the noise it was difficult to relax.”

“Other than the security concerns below, overall this is a nice accommodation. Not too far from the city centre, great price, and a simple but decent breakfast. Room was comfortable. There were two issues however, that might make me try a new place next time. Although the quiet hours were after 11pm, there was significant noise in the common area until 12:30am and starting again at 7am when we were there.
