"This property was clean and well maintaned. The room was a bit smaller than expected but we spent more time doing activities off property, so it was not a problem for us. Air conditioning worked perfected which was a blessing because outside gets pretty hot. Breakfast was okay, i wasn't impressed. As an American, I guess I'm used seeing things like, bacon, sausage, pancakes.etc. They don't seem to be big on having a variety of breakfast meats. They usually have one meat option (chicken, ground meat, sausauge, chicken). There's egss, a variaty of cheeses, and deli meats. Also fruits and pastries. I basically had eggs, fruit and pastries each morning. There are a few other options as well but mostly what i mentioned above. Location was great. Walking distance to a local beach, stores, restaurants, cafes, and city center. The area was completely safe. Lots of local venders to buy food, beverages, fruits or souvenirs from. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Some spoke very English but they were patient as i used my phone to communicate. They did not seem frustrated or impatient while i fumbled to type things in my phone to translate into Spanish. It was almost like a relief for myself and staff to understand each other via the phone. Overall loved the hotel and would definetely stay again."

"When we arrived I upgraded to a suite The best decision we made. The suite was perfect. Beach view was spectacular. The attention we got was superb. I recommend to stay in this hotel. It was sad to leave…. "

"Reestablecer las boyas en la playa para que los jetski no acercan tanto a los nadadores. Además el olor de gasolina que sale de los jetski es feo y daña la experiencia para los demás de nadar y de disfrutar de la playa. El hotel debe pedir a todos sus clientes que no contraten los jetski. "

"Our experience at Irotama was amazing. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, well-tended to, and clean. We stayed in a bungalow which we found very comfortable. It was enjoyable to sit out in front in the morning to have coffee and enjoy the view. It felt very private and was quite comfortable. The beach was beautiful, swimmable, and unobstructed by buildings. We could view it from the bungalow, shaded beach chairs/table, and restaurants. There are vendors who walk the beach selling a variety of goods-jewelry, hats, food, drink, massages. The less we engaged, the more we were left alone and vice versa. Bring Colombian Pesos if you wish to purchase anything on the beach. The pools are excellent! I loved the main pool at ground level, especially swimming in the late afternoon and evening. It wasn’t too crowded or noisy. The staff at Irotama were so friendly and helpful. We speak English and some Spanish and found very few English speakers. Downloading a translation app was helpful for more complex interactions. Aside from meals at Irotama, shopping and food is available a ten minute walk away at Zazue Mall. There are many options to choose from, as well as a grocery store. There is also a small convenience store on the road in-between Irotama and Hilton. It’s simple to get to Irotama from the airport and back again. A shuttle runs on a regular schedule. I would definitely visit here again. "
