“Charming, rustic property. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Fireplace heats the house very well. We didn't need baseboard heat (or we could have skipped the fire). Loved the sauna. So happy to not have access to WiFi. Comfy beds. Awesome hosts. -- responded quickly to a question and were very friendly. Loved the sounds of frogs and birds, and the stars were beautiful.”

Quiet, peaceful location and lots of great fishing :-) Photos are representative of the interior and the cabin was very clean, which goes a long way with me! :-) The kitchen was adequately stocked and having the grill to use outside was very nice. Sandy was very responsive to any questions and very helpful. Would stay again!”

“What a wonderfully relaxing lakeside oasis! Everything was as advertised. Best aspects were un-ending amounts of firewood for the interior fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The sauna, dock and multiple sleeping accommodations (7 separate beds). Only feedback is that they need to replace the oven hot mitts and gas grill (no bottom to collect the grease). Otherwise the group of us would gladly return here again! Cheers 🍻”

“Place was very nice and comfortable. The only issue we had was figuring out the heating system, as we tend to like it a bit cooler. Beautiful location and very convenient getting to Giant's Ridge ski area and into Biwabik.”

“We had a crew from a few places over Minnesota meet up for a race weekend at Giant's Ridge. We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. The home was clean and Kris was so accommodating!”

“Despite the cool rainy day, we had a cozy little cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The hot tub was a nice too. Great for a glamping experience. The house is really close but inside the cabin you would never know it.”

“The loft is amazing, lovely decor with all the necessities and more! Shelia and Darrin are the best hosts we have ever encounter with our rental stays - so friendly and generous. We loved the boathouse and the sauna and Darrin always offered to get the sauna started for us! The location couldn’t be more beautiful, the private lake is so peaceful and you are surrounded by beautiful trees! During our stay we saw some amazing northern lights! A total bonus to an already amazing stay! We look……

“We wanted somewhere close to Duluth but not in town. This was the perfect distance to all the things we wanted to do while in the area. Very nice house and lots of beds. Very cozy sitting by the fireplace at night. Just across the driveway from the bar and grill was nice - food and service was great! We didn't get to use the firepit outside but it looked like a nice amenity. Would definitely stay here again.”
