“Booked a room with a Partial Lake View but on arrival was allocated a room facing the rear of the property and overlooking a car park (the opposite direction to the lake). Property was generally shabby and nothing like the advertised photos. I declined to stay as it was of a very poor standard ”

“The real asset of the Leslie is the staff, always friendly and helpful. I had an issue about payment and the owner came to help me out on Saturday. But please note, non-Malawians may not currently pay hotel accommodation in Malawi using Kwachas.”

“The property shows something and then ask you to choose another property which is in very bad condition.”

“This rustic accommodation was perfect for our three nights at beautiful Lake Malawi, right on the lake with stunning views. Shad looked after us so well and his meals were delicious. Unfortunately, during our stay there was no Wi-Fi, although efforts were made to restore it. We would happily stay here again.”
