Recommend

I was sceptical on staying here but after doing some research and looking at the reviews I decided to give it a try. It was a good experience for myself and my children. The staff is extremely nice and I would definitely recommend this place to other people.

We loved Dreamland Motel! The room was large. Everything was spotlessly clean. They even welcomed our dog. This is so much better than a chain hotel/motel. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel

Very accommodating and courteous, very clean and comfortable would recommend it to friends and we'll stay there again reasonably priced ... really enjoyed our stay

Renovated but dusty and needed cleaning

Nicely renovated room but the amount of dust on the chair in the room (visible) activated asthma in my son and had me coughing all night. Also the floors dont have carpet. We took our shoes off as to not get them wet. Just walking from the front door to the bed they were dirty. I loved the look of the room just needs a good cleaning. We made it through our one night stay but def couldn't have stayed longer with the dust.

Would recommend

The motel is being remodeled by the owner. Our room had fresh pine on the inside walls and new floors. During our stay, the siding on the outside of the rooms was being replaced with vinyl giving the motel a nice, clean face. The staff was friendly. The area where the motel is located is a little out of the way but not far from the city of Malone. In general, we were happy with our accommodations and would stay there again in the future.

We have stayed here 3 weekends since beginning of July and have another weekend booked coming up. Its clean,newly remodeled, quiet and the owners and family are wonderful people. Look forward to many more weekends.

We enjoy staying here, its our second time this year. They have done a lot of remodeling in the rooms and they are very nice and clean. Our only issue with this last stay in that specific room was the shower plumbing, most of the JUST HOT water runs out the faucet spout and very little out the shower head so you run out of hot water VERY quick for two people. And you have to stay near the back of shower because it burns your feet. When we come with the kids next time we just wont get that room. Otherwise it is a good place. And very nice owners.

Very Clean, friendly staff and affordable!

I enjoyed my stay at Dreamland, and would definitely book again if in the area. The only complaint I would have would be that the outdoor pool was not in use and my kids were very disappointed... Should have stated this on the website. Thank you!

Terrible place

During our 2 night stay, we desperately tried to think of at least 1 positive thing we could say about this motel, however, we could not. We booked our reservation online, and after a 9 hour drive, we were told they had no record of our reservation and had no rooms available. The owners didn't speak English well, and had their young daughter (early teens) translate. According to them, booking through a 3rd party doesn't always come through to their system immediately...I booked a week in advance, and have used Travelocity numerous times over the years and have never had any issues. Because I showed the email confirmation from Travelocity, they gave us a room we called "The Leftover Room"...the first thing was the odor, and it was unbelievable, there was very little space for our 2 bags much less anything else, the bathroom seemed recently renovated but not quite finished, windows were painted shut, mini blinds falling off the wall, dead flies in the bathroom, the plumbing is reversed and very unpredictable (scalding to ice in seconds), no space in the bathroom for toiletries or a place to put a towel or clothing, and the floor was sticky, free wifi but they won't give the password to actually use it, the pool was completely covered in black slime, it is pet friendly but beware of the owners 3 very large and very loud German Sheppards which they allow to run free without leashes, cable tv until late at night when you're dropped to only 12 channels from approximately 60.

Not as appealing as shown on website.

The plug for the coffee maker was pulling out of the wall. The shower water came out hot out of the spout so you burned your feet and lukewarm from the top. Outside had a lot of debris setting around buildings.
