The Piggery, located at the foot of the Malverns

Situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills, The Piggery is a small, quirky, cosy & welcoming property. Our smallholding is nestled in the small village of Cradley in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With easy access to the Malvern hills & an abundance of local countryside walks & cycle tracks, including a 10-minute walk to The Red Lion pub. During your stay you can say hello to our chickens, mini rooster and friendly geese. The Piggery is accessed either via its own entrance through a walkway or for easier access via the front outside entrance of the main property. The converted piggery perfect for two people and includes a fully functioning kitchen, a large shower room with toilet, heated towel radiator, and clothes storage area. The lounge has a small super comfy full double sofa bed, perfect for a cosy night in. The property has access to its own private garden area with firepit and with its little light pollution its ideal for stargazing. We can house bikes in the outside garden shed, although we cannot accept any liability for loss or damage.

The Piggery is situated in an area of outstanding beauty with walking routes to the Malvern Hills and an abundance of walking and cycling routes within Cradley, which is full of history and beauty. Our home is also teeming with wildlife. We have a family of otters at the brook located at the bottom of our field, you can also spot majestic birds of prey, including owls. We even have a regular deer who peeps their head out of The Piggery back garden. Come and explore and discover the diverse wildlife that calls our home their own. We have a village shop and the local pub is a ten-minute walk away. Easy access to the historic market town of Ledbury and other charming towns and cities such as Three Counties Showground, Market town of Ledbury, Cheltenham, Worcester, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, and more. You'll love exploring Cradley, a friendly village home to several historical buildings and steeped in history, nature, wildlife, and so much more. Cradley has a local pub, The Red Lion. We have direct access via public footpath to the Red Lion so enjoy a 10-minute stroll through the countryside for a refreshing drink and a bite to eat. Malvern is a 10-minute drive away, offering history, glorious views, incredible walks, and more. This spa town boasts charming shops, fascinating art, rich history, a beautiful church, and some amazing eateries. The market town of Ledbury is around a 15-minute drive away, known for its beautiful black and white timber-framed buildings. Ledbury is full of history and beauty. Why not amble down the cobbled streets, which host independent shops, museums, art, and many eateries? Visiting the Three Counties Showground? We are approximately a 10 minute drive away, making us the perfect location to visit the showground, which offers a calendar of events with the Malvern Hills as a backdrop.
