Beautiful lodging, beautiful setting
Lovely property. Have a preteen kid who wants to get away from mom and dad? This hideaway gives the kid their own private loft with a half bath.

Misleading
I cannot say i was pleased with this stay. First, the host switched the the house that we originally rented and payed for on us without us knowing until we reached out to them. The code to get in didn't work on the original property. My husband reached out and the host told him that the code was for the house next door. Second, we heard some weird screaching to the point where my husband was uncomfortable. My kids were scared. We didn't stay the whole night we left around 12:30/1am because we could not sleep. I check all the beds we sleep on no matter where we stay and the matress had a whole in it on the corner/edge where the pillow was. Third, both of my kids got some bug bites/rashes that showed the following day. I know this was a woodsy area but this was terrible and misleading stay. I didnt post this review until now because i didn't want to ruin the rest of our vacation.

Served it’s purpose
This was not a pleasure trip. We came down to clean out my dads house upon his death. This was not our first trip doing this but furniture had been disassembled and we needed a place to sleep. This was the closest place to the house. We only slept there.

Great Little Cabin
Great little cabin. We enjoyed our stay. Would have been good to know: 1. 4th bed upstairs is under one of the other beds. 2. No plates in the kitchen. 3. Didn’t know how to lock the back door. Otherwise all was great.

Weekend Stay for 2
Cabin was very clean and had everything necessary for weekend getaway for me and my daughter. Wood interior is beautiful, but appliances and furnishings were a bit dated as noted in other comments. Great location, although Google Maps directed us to a trailer up the road that was just short of a horror movie at 9 PM (yikes); working exterior lights would have been nice (and more welcoming). A/C unit in master bedroom was sufficient for two, but not sure it would be enough to maintain cool temp in entire cabin during higher summer temps. Didn't use attic space, but it appeared to have plenty of sleeping space, another room AC and the half bath, although it lacked any privacy (no walls/separators at all). Overall, nice cabin provided you aren't expecting "glamping" accommodations.

Simply Relaxing.
This is a small A-frame cabin near the lake with a swimming beach within walking distance (for those that like walking). Simple and convenient for the money. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle this place punches the ticket. We brought our 4 kids to go to Mammoth Caves and neighboring cave attractions. While these are a short drive the surrounding land is beautiful and made the distance an added bonus. This property Is as stated "homey" and rustic. If you like simple and the outdoors and don't require the finer things you will enjoy your stay.
