Rooms are abit tired and dated but comfortable. Loved sitting outside room looking across to lake.

The owner was kind and helpful. Late arrival was easily arranged. Beautiful view across the lake to the snow-capped mountains. This place is very minimalist. It had enough room for all of us with 3 bedrooms and a sleep out. The sleep out was half the garage and had an ensuite. It was sufficient but small. Not really enough plates for the amount of people that can stay. The glasses were in need of a bit of cleaning as well. ...

We really enjoyed our stay here but the layout is definitely different. It is not for people with mobility issues but otherwise it is great. It is very small not many options for food although Te Anau is 20 mins away, by car, with many options. It is close to the embarkation point for Doubtful Sound cruises, walking distance, which was excellent, a beautiful trip.
