Great location, and the room was lovely. Excellent communication from the staff; Darren checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. My only complaint is the noise from the road, but it's on a major highway, so that is to be expected. I would definitely stay here again!

This motel is undergoing a complete transformation and they are not quite finished at this writing, but the rooms are beautiful, updated and clean. It’s just across the street from Lake Michigan and a beautiful view.

They have been renovating and are not all the way done but mostly done. It was absolutely beautiful. It was a very lovely room and beautiful decor! Great location and spectacular view of the water. Restaurant right next-door for convenience and the staff was absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for a better stay.

Our room was great. Only downside is the noise that comes from the major highway out front. That road starts to roar with trucks before 6 AM and doesn't stop till after 11 PM. Having said that we absolutely LOVED taking our chairs and cooler down to the shore of lake Michigan on the property's private beach. This chill time was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our newly-renovated rooms were great! The breakfast area in the lobby was quite small, but still appreciated. The indoor pool was refreshing and having it open late into the evening was great - it will be better when the hot tub becomes functional. The staff was very helpful and responsive by text messages. Great location and hope the renovations continue to be as good. We managed fine without an elevator, but that may be a concern for some people with 2nd floor rooms.

The bed was comfy. It was very loud at night, right by the highway. The curtains are either all or nothing there was no sheer. It was a pulldown shade so having a Lakeview wasn’t really that beneficial because if we didn’t pull the shade down, we’d have no privacy at all. I know they’re in the middle of a big remodel so I have hope for this place but it’s not there yet. The carpeting on the stairs was embarrassingly worn. The grab and go breakfast was OK but the bananas were bright green and inedible. The coffee was pretty good, and I felt comfortable and slept well after I killed the spider on the wall.

I was a little concerned when we pulled up to this hotelas it looked a little run down. The door leading to our room was in pretty bad shape, but once we opened the door, the interior of our room was very nicely updated! There were a lot of modern touches to the inside of our room, which were great! I understand from a brochure left in the room that this hotel was recently bought by a couple and they are in the process of completely upgrading and updating it. They have plans to continue with improvements like new doors and windows, which will help a lot. I have absolutely no complaints about this stay. It was very quiet there. We enjoyed their private lake view across the street and took a stroll down the beach. I believe they have big plans for the beach side of their property too. It might be interesting to visit again in a few years and see a completely different version of this hotel than we saw the other day. I would highly recommend staying here

The hotel was superb in its updating. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean...no carpeting aside from a large rug under the bed. It is a very noisy area because of the proximity to the highway but that's okay. The three seasons cafe (beside the hotel) had fabulous food and a wonderful staff. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I will tell friends.

The property is in the middle of massive renovation. We had 2 rooms there. One room had a bathroom door which would not close. The other room you could see daylight under the exterior door because of a big air gap. The room itself was very nice other than that. There was nice art on the wall, a rain shower, clean. The pool had loose tiles lying on the bottom, the hot tub was drained and it was obvious there was construction going on in there. The carpets were extremely worn along the walkways. It will be a beautiful property when they get it done, just be aware that right now it is in need of many renovations yet. There was no mention of this in their ad. It made it seem like it was a brand new resort and fancy.
