"roomy friendly clean"

"Kahler Grand is in a perfect location for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. We were able to walk there through subways and sky walks which was great for cold and rainy days. There's currently construction going on, so the entrance wasn't so obvious. Uber and cabs know where it is though. We did encounter some homeless people several times coming into the lobby, which was a little unsettling while waiting for our cab at 3:30am. The elevators require a room key to go above the second floor, so that felt safer. We never had any problems other than one guy who snuck on the elevator with us. I really feel bad for these people but feeling safe is important. Overall, I plan to stay there again. Our room was clean and comfortable, although we had trouble cooling the room enough at night. There are plenty of restaurants walking distance which made it convenient. We'll be back. "

"The hotel itself had all the amenities. The room tv stand that had the microwave and fridge the doors did not close properly. It was difficult to get to the fridge as the tv stand door kept closing in on it. The closet door had stains on it as well and the light pole had not been wiped down. The staff was wonderful and parking was easy!"

"Hotel is great! Very clean, large rooms with blackout shades. We used the shuttle to Mayo Clinic and it was very easy to use. Highly recommend. "

"We stayed one night at the hotel to take the kids swimming for a little get away for their spring break. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice, big and roomy, but one of the 2 bathrooms had dry blood stains on the bathtub tiles and we didn't realize that until after the kids came back from swim and showered. I did let the Manager on duty know. She said she will send maintenance to clean it, but she looked irritated and annoyed that I mentioned it. I did not get a very genuine or sincere response from her or apology. Besides that breakfast was good and coffee was available all day."
