Nice house on water

We spent about six weeks here. The house was accurately represented. There is a nice pool, but please note heat is extra. The house is almost directly across from the YMCA which we joined for six weeks. Bikes are included. There are some items that needed to be fixed (e.g. dishwasher/umbrella), but the property manager was on top of it. Nice place - saw a manatee in the canal behind the house!

Wonderful place with great amenities

Really enjoyed the entertaining floor plan. This place is excellent for families looking for a wonderful getaway. The pool and outdoor grill is an excellent touch. The outdoor ceiling fan and TV didn’t work but all-in-all we had a wonderful time. The check-in and check-out process was easy and efficient.

Clean and nice location

The pool heater and hot tub did not work. We did report within the first hour of our trip and it was never addressed. Other than that, great stay.

Gorgeous Home! Mediocre Management Group.

Stay was fantastic. House is beautiful. Loved every minute. Only complaint is that the property manager booked this property for next year at the same time without consulting us and seeing if we wanted it again. In the middle of us inquiring about renting again, they let someone else rent it. Not overly impressed with Vacasa for that reason. We’ll use another avenue for renting next year. But the home was excellent.

Very disappointing

We read unenthusiastic reviews 6 weeks before our stay. We questioned the property manager who assured us the home was 100%. On our arrival: 1) the front door lock was inoperable and took 2 days to replace; the cooktop only had 2 small burners that worked - took forever to scramble eggs. Was not repaired before we left which was a HUGE problem because me and my friend love to cook; the master bath had a sink 90% stopped up and one faucet had no water - its lines were totally clogged - took 12 days to get the faucets replaced; pool net hanging by a thread - we bought one so we could clean bugs and leaves; the internet was spotty - we resorted to using phone hotspots; the TVs have Roku - there's no live network TV; we wanted to stream from our devices but needed a code - we asked several times and the property manager never replied or helped. That is the Reader's Digest version. The back and forth on ALL those things was exhausting. It made for a VERY unpleasant stay.

Hiccups in the beginning

When we got o the property, we noticed the pool level to be very low. Because of this, the pool was not filtering properly and there were bugs on bottom and floating on top. Being pool owners, my husband knew to grab hose and fill the pool to level. He then had to clean the pool. Not something he wants to do starting his vacation! 😳 Also, there was a storm shutter from family room that was down blocking the main view! Couldn’t figure out how to raise this. There were switches inside house with labels... Do Not Touch! My husband by mistake, flipped one on and, eureka! We had a view! Mind you, that was four days before we had to leave and we were there for 10. I had to call the management company like 12 times about the pool, the jacuzzi that had no heat and could not find the button to turn on! So many remotes! OMG! Couldn’t figure out what goes to what tv or ceiling fan. Ok, in addition, we looked for trash in the garage and couldn’t see it. It was on side of house with trash from previous tenants. When my husband opened it, it was so disgusting and full of maggots. Another call to the management company! This company is awful! You need to change! Got hung up on and didn’t get call backs til too late. Think your house was beautiful and well appointed due to the closet that was opened and was probably suppose to be locked! This is where I found the laundry detergent. There needs to be better communication and instructions for your guests. Another mtg. Co!
