"Decal and the Jets"

The unit at Riverside was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offering a peaceful view of the river. It is exactly as pictured! There were only a few issues with the complex itself. Number one is that the third floor elevator did not work and the lone luggage trolley was rickety. So getting to our third floor unit was not as smooth as expected. Number two: we had to buy a parking decal for $30 at the complex's office which was no big deal, but we were not aware of it until we checked in. Furthermore the decal itself had to be placed exactly on the passenger side headlight or else access to parking was denied. We had to get another decal on Monday since the first one did not work. This was an annoyance that put a damper on our first few days at Riverside. The heated pool was lovely especially since the weather was cool for February. Number three: the hot tub was also pleasant but it only timed for 5 minutes rather than the 15 normally programmed for jets. That meant that to enjoy the hot tub, one had to either get in and out of it or hope a sunbather nearby would turn the dial for activating the jets. Residents and guests at the pool and elsewhere were very friendly and nice! Overall we had a pleasant week at Riverside in Old Marco!

Outdoor grills needed work and were fixed. Shortage of sharp knives. Otherwise great location.

There were a couple minor issues that Marco Island Rentals remedied quickly. One thing to note is the poor cutlery - knives in particular. Rusty, serated only type. Not good. This unit is small, but for 2 people it was fine. We enjoyed watching the boats go by out front. The docks in front of A building are destroyed/roped off. Pickleball very limited (every other day?) but at least there is some. Loved the location in Old Marco. Recommend this unit and rental company

Excellent home away from home. Our only gripe was that we found some things like the kitchen utensil tray looked quite dirty and some of the kitchen items were not clean and had caked on food. We reported to the management office and they plan on speaking to the cleaning staff. Otherwise, beautiful property.

Riverside Marco island

The location was wonderful getting around Marco island is easy and the infrastructure is so well done that traffic isn’t an issue. Accessing the nice beaches is not easy but if you can easily walk a mile it is not a problem. My husband can’t. Lots going on and lots of fun Options on the water. Our unit at riverside was all I hoped it would be. The owners did an outstanding job with the renovation and it is very well represented online. The residents at riverside were very welcoming to us as renters. We were really in old Marco island and there are a lot of hidden treasures There.
