"Staff was the highlight of the hotel"

"We loved our stay at coconut bay! The ride to the airport was less than 5 minutes.. such a perk! The pools were very nice, the food was great! We had one of the newly remodeled concierge rooms and it was perfect. My son loved playing pickleball after the sun went down. We heard the beach wasn't very nice so we didn't have high expectations, but we took the short walk down to the resorts paradise beach and it was honestly gorgeous! They had free boogie boards, snorkels, paddle boards and kayaks! There were tons of beach chairs and a few hammocks in the shade. There was also a bar down at the beach but the "burger shack" was very lackluster. It would've been easier just to walk back to the resort for food... minimal menu and took like 45 mins waiting in the scorching sun! We loved visiting the pet sanctuary, my son also loved some of the activities they had going on. The waterslides and lazy river were a bit hit also. The common areas were overall really clean. I wasn't aware most common areas and the main dining was all open air, but it was nice and not freezing due to air conditioning. We loved this resort and would definitely consider coming back if we ever come back to St Lucia! "

"Perfection"

"Our room was EXTREMELY small, the bathroom door could not close all the way. The entry door had serious gaps in it, looked unsafe. The air conditioner started to stop working just before we left, not enough sockets to plug up devices and watch tv. Ride to and from airport was $20, which we were not informed of and it was only 2-4 miles from airport"

"The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "

John from the chocolate-making tour was incredibly welcoming, Marguerite at reception made sure we had everything we needed, and Henrietta was always present at the right time checking in and answering every question. "Banbou Terrace was everything we hoped it would be and more! It all starts with the best host ever…Ruphena…who was a joy to meet. Ruphena provided very helpful info about the area and checked in with us via text during our stay. The property itself was lovely. We felt safe inside the gated property. We stayed in the two bedroom unit on the top floor. We tend to cook a good bit when we travel. The fully furnished full kitchen is such a great benefit. The King bedroom with attached roomy full bathroom were wonderful. The AC works well and cools quickly. The living area was comfy and dining area was more than adequate for our needs. We didn’t use the second King bedroom and very roomy full bath, but they are excellent as well. The two exterior features also help to make this property what it is. The rooftop terrace provides ample seating and stunning views of the surrounding area and the sea. The pool on the lower floor is a great place to chill after a day of exploring. If you’re trying to decide between this property or another, you need to go ahead and make it happen. The 10/10 rating didn’t happen on its on. This is THAT place! Thanks again, Ruphena!"
