Perfect family retreat

Dreaming Tree is the perfect family retreat. The house has gorgeous views and the top two floors are beautifully decorated. The bottom floor has the most fun game room. We loved the house so much, we only left to ski. The house is a vacation in and of itself. There is so much to do, there is no need to leave. The kitchen is large and has everything foodies need to cook and bake. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to return. This house is an amazing getaway for families or friends.

Everything was as advertised, except two of “queen bedrooms” were actually full beds. Not the best fit for five couples.

Pros and Cons

The house was a perfect size for our family and the game room was great to have. We really looked forward to using the hot tub and sauna, both of which were difficult to use and took a long time to heat. We were only able to get the hot tub heated once for use and the water looked dirty and very cloudy. On night one it rained, and one of the bedrooms upstairs was leaking from the ceiling, waking our adult daughter as it was dripping directly on her. She contacted the property owner right away and was told a roofer would be sent out. A roofer never arrived and when she reached out again we were just told that it was a good thing there was no more rain in the forecast. However, it DID rain again the next evening for a brief time. We ended up moving the bed a bit and placing a pot on the floor for the water to drip in. We made the best of our trip, as our family isn't all together at the same time very often, but there were definitely some disappointments with our stay.
