「Wildgoose Cottage was a fabulous, away from it all break. The only noise we heard was nature, cows, pheasant and lots of birds. We were lucky to see a deer with a fawn and boxing hares. This is a very relaxing place to stay but a good 45 minutes walk to the centre of Whitby either along the road or the Cleveland Way.」

「overall impression of property very good, lots of extras ie books, games, lovely decoration and cosy feel to living room area .could not get on to net flix but no big deal, heating a bit hit and miss could be chilly in winter , did provide throws, no parking area but managed to find somewhere on the road outside . 「Beautiful, spacious renovated old mill. Great outdoor space overlooking private stream. Luxury bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. Large kitchen, dining room and 2 lounge areas. 「The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.」
