“My friend and I wanted to spend a week exploring the city rather than spending all of our time at a resort, and this place was definitely a great choice.The property is managed by a nice couple who lives on the bottom level of the property. Above them, there are two rooms which they have for guests. “Hosts: Extremely helpful, they went out of their way to help me get items I needed for the next stage of my trip. Room and building: Excellent. Atmospheric with lots of character, and a view of palm trees from my window. Cool with AC and a powerful fan. “Booked without realizing it was outside of Puerto Vallarta. One of my best mistakes to date. It is a little expensive to get to by taxi, and extra $50 we didn't plan on but in the end it was sooo worth it. This place is tranquil and good for the soul. There is a small stream behind the hotel with a manmade sandbar in it with 3 beach chairs. Waterfall about 4 steps away from that. Perfect place to read or just listen to nature and reconnect with oneself. The wifi was not working while we were……
