“We really liked the stylish comfort of this unit. The location was excellent for downtown exploring. The signs with added information of the history of the building was a nice touch as wells as the use of the oak barrel themes throughout. The hosts were responsive to messages and phone calls in a timely fashion. We visit Peoria often during the Bradley basketball season and would stay (and hope to stay) here again. ”

“This is our 4th or 5th stay at one of Matthew’s properties and our experience was as we have come to expect. His properties are comfortably furnished, clean, and consistent with their descriptions. We have never needed assistance as there have never been issues with check in or maintenance, but I have no doubt it would be handled quickly and efficiently. When I come home to visit my central IL hometown, I always look for a listing of Mathew’s to use during my stay. ”

“The property is nice but definitely an old building. Also the windows had cracks in them, bed wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve slept in but it gets the job done. Cleaning fees are a bit much on this property. There’s no central AC and only had two AC units which one of the bedrooms didn’t have one. And the door was hanging off the hinges. All of that can be good a side though. Check in process was easy, neighborhood was nice, location to Peoria was decent, it is equipment with everything……

“Fantastic stay here in Bartonville. They thought of everything, and it was so incredibly welcoming. The ONLY caution is that I'm not sure the couch would really be considered a "pullout," since it really just folds flat like a futon, so I may not be able to bring my teens with me to comfortably sleep here next time. But there's so much room and the kitchen is fully equipped for making meals – it might just be a matter of requesting the air mattress for the extra sleeping space. 😊”
