"Seamless process! Had a lovely stay. The location was perfect to the proximity of Elizabeth and Galena. Lots of fun things to do, and such a beautiful part of the country! The cabin was peaceful and secluded. We really enjoyed our time."

"My daughter and I recently stayed at Irish Cottage Inn & Suites and had a great experience. The location was convenient, and although we had to cross a fairly busy road, we were able to walk to downtown Galena easily. We also used the shuttle service once, which was a wonderful perk and made getting around even easier. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with great shower water pressure and a small refrigerator that came in handy during our stay. I also appreciated being able to grab a cup of coffee on our way out each morning, though I would have preferred it a little stronger. One unexpected highlight was the restaurant and pub on site. After spending the day exploring Galena, it was so nice to come back, relax, and enjoy the live music. The band was great, the atmosphere was lively, and the place was absolutely hopping. It added a lot to the overall experience and gave us something fun to do without having to go back out. The only downside was that I couldn’t seem to keep the air conditioning running consistently. It may have been user error, but it was a bit frustrating at times. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Irish Cottage Inn & Suites again on a future visit to Galena."

"The UFO was AMAZING. Warm and Cozy vibes, genuinely felt like a second home and were so sad to leave. BUT WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. Thank you for all the work you put into the home and all the helpful little notes around the home . If anyone needs a sign in whether to book this place or not this is it. 10/10 Experience!"

"House was perfect with a lot of spread out space. It was only myself and my husband but if young kids were with, the upstairs space would make for a nice hideaway. We are very outdoor people and enjoyed the backyard picnic bench to hang and enjoy meals. Lots of amazing things.. like a real jukebox. We didn't use it as we were adventurous in local neighborhood towns. Bringing foil was good as we cooked in to save money. A grill outside was provided but the night was rainy so we just cooked in. Travis was willing to allow us to do a fire outback but the rain kept us in. He has tons of DVD movies to choose and lots of games. We did love the front sunroom and sat in there the evening it rained. The place is not far from Elizabeth where we went to the antique mall.. Galena , where we walked town and went to the Great hot air balloon race. We even took a road trip to the Dubuque botanical garden. next time we'd visit the crystal lake caves in Dubuque as well ,we just didn't have time.Travis is reasonably priced with his home and we prefer the more spread out feel over a hotel. If cooking...bring ziplock bags and foil. Everything was as described. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Drive way was steep but he States in description. We were fine in our escape. I believe he stated street parking was allowed as well. We would definitely always support our veterans and this was a great way to do just that. So book and Don't forget ,thank him for serving!!"

"The property is very clean and the location is close to Galena, making it a very good location. We enjoyed the quiet and pleasant outdoor surroundings by the orchard. The decor of the unit is very modern with a classic touch. We felt safe and comfortable. The accommodations met our needs and we enjoyed the privacy. Please remember to bring bottled water and any other last minute necessities as the location is not near local shops. We look forward to staying here again in the future."
