The only thing that threw me off a bit was the fact that we were told that we would have to pay for our energy usage upon check in by Isabella. This was never mentioned anywhere in our booking before hand, nor after we booked, so to be told on the day of checking in was a surprise. The money was paid in...

「Located in a delightful location, with incredible views towards Lucca. The owner is charming and helpful and very attentive to any requests. His mode of helping you find the house is faultless. This IS certainly a property you would return to. Thank you Massimo for sharing this with us. David 」

「We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed.」

"Very convenient to get to the station. Excellent breakfast. Room satisfactorily with respect to the size, facilities and of course to the price. The entrance of the hotel in the midst of the alley not directly seen from the open street is a major defect of all. On the whole, the staff are polite and helpful .I sincerely would recommend this hotel."
