Such a great place to stay. A little old school but very clean, comfortable and great price. John who checked us in was so helpful and kind. We were on a motorcycle trip with 2 other couples and he helped put all rooms close to each other and in view of our bikes. I would gladly stay here again.

Property needs just a little updating. It was very clean. Staff was Excellent. They are always very friendly and easy to deal with. Breakfast is good and they always have fresh coffee. Staying on the inside of property is really nice next to the pool which is always kept clean and inviting. It's not a 4 star hotel but very clean and a very good stay for anyone on a budget. Laundry room is kept clean and always open to the guest. Staff is very friendly and will tend to your needs.

staff is very friendly and helpful but they did forget to put towels in the room. Very budget friendly. Coffee and breakfast is not too bad. I don't eat the sausage because it is always microwaved and not fried. Waffles and cereal and the other breakfast items are very good. always yogurt and juice as well as milk and cereal. I do not have any complaints except maybe the towel issue and I'm sure that was just a minor oversight. Staff is always friendly and kind.

For the price and proximity to downtown Mayfield and Fancy Farm, this place is a winner. However, if any other option were to come up, I would take it. The photos on the website don’t capture to state of neglect in the standard double rooms. I love an independently owned hotel/motel but even if the funds aren’t there to keep up with the latest furniture and bedding you have to maintain and more importantly CLEAN what you do have. The combo of poor maintenance and ineffective cleaning makes this hotel seem worse than it actually is. Fortunately, the ac unit worked incredibly well and it was just for two nights.

The room was so stinky I had to go get sanitizer for it! The bathroom had stuff all around the toilet and the door knobs. I had to clean before even using the restroom. Told them on my reservation 4 of us my husband, myself, and 2 children there was 2 towels I went and asked for 2 more towels so we each had one and was questioned about requesting a towel for each guest! They double charged my card which I got taken care of thank goodness and then the breakfast they say they provide was water eggs, and brown green consistency potatoes. It was just not clean and made us very uncomfortable. I guess you get what you pay for but it was the only hotel available and we were there for travel softball tournament. I would definitely not recommend. There was numerous shady characters hanging around the parking lot all night also which made me feel some type of way with my new vehicle being parked out there.
