The place is nice and not the common cabin concept, the building is modern but still a work in progress. The windows allow for a beautiful view, however, it is located by a saw mill that starts work at 5:30 am so be ready for the loud noise. The appliances are new it is convenient if traveling with the family, the TV works fine the signal is weak but it is the provider besides who wants to watch TV with so much to do around. I believe it will be better once the units are finished. The owner replies in a timely manner, we asked for towels and the housekeeper delivered within the hour. If booking please know that the place is OK but rather rustic and it may be a bit overpriced maybe because it’s advertised as a VIP stay? Anyway, we had a great time visiting Mazamitla.

I liked that it was spacious with full kitchen but the place was not clean. The bed sheets smelled and appeared to be dirty. The showe curtain was super dirty. The pillows had mold on them. Once i complained to the staff about the dirtyness, they were not happy to give us clean sheets and shower curtain. I would never stay here again and do not recommend it.

A nice surprise

Located about 10min walk from the center of the city, the place was great for our family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. they provided great information about the city. The apartment are simple but comfortable and have plenty of blankets for the cold nights :) Property has some grilling station in the back that you can use.

Departamento bien ubicado y de buen tamaño. Aceptan mascotas. Tiene una bonita vista a las montañas, sin embargo no cuenta con cortinas en la sala de estar, lo que resulta incómodo por la falta de privacidad. No es grato estar en el asador y al mismo tiempo estar viendo lo que pasa en la sala de cada departamento. El último día hubo una confusión con la hora de entrega del departamento. En nuestra reservación especifica que es a las 13:00, pero los dueños tienen su propia hora, insistiendo en que los confundidos éramos nosotros. Le tuvimos que mostrar la confirmación de la reservación. Por otro lado, es la primera vez que experimentamos que al hacer el check out los dueños revisaran sábana por sábana llegando a culparnos de una mancha en el colchón la cual tuvimos que demostrar que no era nuestra. Si lo permitimos nos hubieran cobrado sábanas, almohadas y colchón.

Una opción diferente al resto, relativamente cerca del centro, espacios amplios equipados con lo básico para una estancia de pocos días. Recomendaría que pusieran cesto de basura tanto en los cuartos como en la cocina, un aditamento en el patio para poder colgar y dejar secar ropa.

Es opción cuando no hay cabañas como en semana santa, económica con buenos servicios en general, duermes bien, está cerca del centro, puedes hacer fogata en patio de atrás y convivir, está en proceso de mejoramiento y te atienden muy bien y muy accesibles. Costo beneficio adecuado.
