Lovely and peaceful

Our stay at Toasted Marshmallow was such a pleasure! We loved the hammock, the hot tub, and meeting several adorable dogs plus a very sweet tortoiseshell cat. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing stay

Had an amazing stay at toasted marshmallow. It was our first time in Hocking hills. The place was clean and the show was warm. The hot tub and animals were def a highlight of our trip. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great place to stay

The hosts were excellent- very prompt in helping when needed. The animals were friendly and fun. The inside of the house is well decorated and tidy. Not too far from the Hocking Hills attractions we went to see. Overall, great place to stay.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

This cabin was perfect for a solo getaway to recharge. The cabin was adorable, very clean and had everything I needed. The property was wonderful, especially for an animal lover. I met a darling orange cat, 3 dogs, baby sheep, mama sheep and goats. Location was great, just outside McArthur and Zalenski. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The owners were friendly and gave us plenty of privacy. The kittens on the porch were an added bonus! Wonderful space and peaceful getaway within driving distance of good hiking.

We had the best stay at this little cottage! Loved the hot tub and the goats. The location was a little far from Hocking Hills but we didn’t mind the drive. Very peaceful and nice getaway :)

Perfect stay

Adorable, clean, tiny cabin on a farm with lots of friendly visitors: dogs, cats, chickens. Owner is super gracious and accommodating. Water filter works great for drinking.

Farm paradise

If you enjoy a authentic country setting with cats and dogs greeting you when you pull in the driveway, then this is the place for you. Comfortable bed ,deep tub and homey decor.

Perfect spot after hiking

This was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. It was clean, comfortable, and romantic. We loved seeing the kittens, goats, dogs, and turkey. We watched a beautiful sunset from the private hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

Got to see three dogs, two cats, and so many goats! The puppies played outside our windows for the last few hours of our stay. The cats came right up when we first arrived. Definitely the place to be if you love animals!

Nice introduction into the world of Vrbo

This was my wife and I first experience with Vrbo and not a hotel room. Cabin was very nice and very quiet. Was close enough to Hocking Hills to make day drips out each day. Proximity to Logan and Athens made dining out easy.

Cozy little house in the country

We stayed at Toasted Marshmallow because we were hiking in Hocking Hills and Conkle Hollow State Parks. It was SO relaxing to stay in this comfortable little home instead of camping in between our two days of hiking. And if your bones are aching a little, well - just hop in their hot tub and your pains will melt away for a good night's rest.

Peaceful

We loved our time here. Serene and beautiful, complete with so many fur friends. Toasted Marshmallow was perfect for the two of us. We relaxed in the hot tub in the morning and had a fire in the evening. Thanks so much for the fire woods.

Toasted Marshmallow Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The scenery was beautiful and the animals on the property were so friendly. We enjoyed having the hot tub to relax in. The only thing we would have liked is curtains on the windows that are not so sheer so windows are covered more especially at night and while in the bathroom for showers etc.

Awesome place!

If you are looking for a place to stay near Hocking Hills, the toasted marshmallow is the place! I stayed here for a romantic weekend getaway and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Such a beautiful property with a nice and clean cabin. My favorite part was being welcomed by all of the friendly dogs, kittens, goats that are located on the property. The owner was so friendly and helpful with anything we would’ve needed. We loved our stay at the toasted marshmallow!

Great Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the Toasted Marshmallow! I was particularly excited for the goats and lambs. Justin was quick to respond when we had a need/question which we deeply appreciated. McArthur was a little further from the Hocking Hills hiking than we maybe wanted but the quiet cabin and hot tub were nice for our relaxing trip.

Perfect solo/couples stay

This cute little cabin was the most perfect place for our Valentine’s Day weekend. I loved seeing the dogs running around and they cats were very sweet too. It was so nice and private, but for being on a working farm there should be less sheer curtains (my only complaint!) I also appreciated the free WiFi because there was spotty service. Otherwise we had an amazing time and I recommend this to others!!
