Great house for family time

My kids on spring break and we wanted just a little couple day getaway. It was perfect. our older daughter and her husband came along and we had plenty of space plenty of privacy would definitely come back

This house was perfect for our family. Great location, clean and had all the amenities of home. Plenty of room for a large family, even for our sweet puppy. I would highly recommend booking this gem and we are looking forward in coming back!

Great multi-family home

We had a long weekend with another family, 4 adults and 6 kids ages 9-16. Everyone had a great time with lots to do and the house was so comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We all thought it was more spacious than the pictures made it seem. We liked the open layout of the livingroom and kitchen. We would love to stay there again.

We highly recommend The Boone House as a vacation rental. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and is within minutes of the Massanutten Resort venues. The hosts were excellent to work with and they provided helpful information about the area as well as easy to follow check-in and checkout details. The house was well appointed (nice appliances, utensils, spices, coffee, tea, games and more) has comfortable beds with nice linens, and thoughtful touches that enhanced our stay. We will be repeat customers if we return to Massanutten.

Hiking Trip

The house was really nice and the location was perfect. It was so close to Shenandoah National Park which gave us so much time to hike and take our time at the park. We also really liked the hot tub after a long day. All the amenities were working as usual and everything was very comfortable and cozy.

Amazing and convenient!!

The home/property was amazing and breathtaking. Amenities galore and so much space. The hot tub was perfect. When the temp got cool. Perfect location to everything, we visited 3 local wineries for wine tasting and a brewery. Planning for the next trip!!

I want to say that The Boone House is the best place i've stayed yet. Home away from home. If your looking for a getaway that accomodates, this is the spot. Great Family Vacation!!

The Boone House is perfectly appointed. The bedrooms afford family privacy: a master suite ( ensuite bath, walk-in closet), 2 large bedrooms with their own bath and a suite for privacy ( with bath) on the lower floor. The kitchen has everything we need and is labeled to facilitate use. Boone House is clean and VERY spacious. The area has everything we need. We went skiing, tubing, and horseback riding. The stables has a farm-like collection of animals ( potbelly pigs, goats that climb onto parapets, beautiful peacocks, sheep, Shetland ponies, 2 ferrets that we pet, etc.) that our grandchildren loved. There was one rainy day so we drove to Explore More Discovery Museum in Harrisonburg. It was unbelievable- we could have spent the entire day there. The area restaurants are delish and close. This was our second year at Boone House and each time we love it more.

Cozy mountain getaway!

This home is immaculate and well organized for visitors. Our entire family agreed this was the nicest place we have stayed at. We enjoyed everything- the hot tub, piano, pool table- but mostly, just the beautiful surroundings.

Just book it! It’s perfect

Melissa and Danny’s beautiful home in Massanutten is fantastic all the way around. Clean, EXTREMELY spacious (there were 9 of us), and stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is so much to do around the home, you barely need to leave! But if you feel the need, obviously the resort grounds has so many activities to choose from. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the large well equipped kitchen, as well as the main living room space and fireplace. Everything about this home screams vacation and tranquility. I am a stickler for reading reviews and being very picky about my accommodations… from one type A traveler to another… just book it and stop worrying! :)

Beautiful Home

All was great at the Boone house. It’s a lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood. One minor thing was that the karaoke microphones have a bad connection. We left a microphone stand there so that the mic chords can stay connected. Also the TV downstairs doesn’t have a remote for volume so couldn’t do karaoke downstairs or watch TV as the volume is very low..

Great Time!

We had a wonderful time! There were a lot of good times in the snow, especially for the grandkids. The house was one of the best places I have stayed! It was well stocked with everything we needed, and everyone slept well! Definitely a 5 Star! Thank you Melissa and Danny, we hope to stay there again the next time we're in the area.

This was a great property to celebrate my adult twins birthday. The property was well appointed, beds comfortable and unit was clean. We loved the hot tub and pool table. The host provided info about the area and gave a great restaurant recommendation. Would highly recommend.

Great house & location

The house was very roomy! Plenty of room and spaces to spread out. The house is well stocked and owners were great to communicate with. We would definitely rent it again if it was available for our next trip.
