「The cabin was in a very nice rural location with trees surrounding the property. We loved the way the cabin was decorated and furnished, everything was very comfortable. On the second night of our stay we got an amazing view of the Northern Lights while we relaxed in the hot tub. There are many things to do within an hour of the property so whether you choose relaxing days at the property or exploring the nearby area it's a great location. 」

「Black bear lodge was the perfect home away from home for our family of 5 (kiddos age range 6 years to 9 months). Check in couldn't have been easier, even for a first time vrbo guest! Communication with Cory was quick and helpful. We appreciated the extra amenities such as coffee and coffee filters, shampoo and conditoner, condiments and butter, paper towels, dish soap and sponge. 「We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and throughly enjoyed our stay. WiFi was added since our last stay and it was a wonderful upgrade for us to bring our Roku. As others have mentioned there are multiple trains daily which we knew about. There is one around 7-7:20am which you should be aware of. This stay the sheets were a little more worn and there was more pet hair but the master bed was very comfortable. We would recommend staying here and probably will again. 」

「Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.」

「It was a nice, relaxing stay. The pictures make it look like their is a long driveway so I thought it might be more secluded but it's right by the road. 「This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms.
