「If you’re looking for privacy, this isn’t the place to book an escape… Host is very friendly, but also lingers outside close to the rental after dark and at random times which was very uncomfortable for us as we felt like our space was invaded. She also waited for us in the driveway to greet us and conversate, we prefer no contact with hosts, maybe that’s just us though. 「We had a wonderful time staying at the Driftwood Lodge, exploring Abingdon, biking on the trail, and hiking. The house is in a safe, beautiful location. The house is well-stocked and well-equipped for entertainment. We enjoyed the firepit, the game room, streaming a movie, sitting on the balconies, and walking through the neighborhood to the lake.」

「Mary was an amazingly sweet and gracious host for known reasons. Very kind and humbling. The motifs for every room and area was wonderfully eclectic and so much fun. Lastly, no way you can beat the proximity to the Barter unless you sleep on the front steps of the theatre. Lovely stay. We love Abingdon! 」
