“Wow what an experience it was to stay here! It is so off the beaten track that you need collecting by the hotel staff in a very heavy duty jeep because a normal car stands no chance of getting there. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been with the most amazing views of the mountains. I will say it is so remote that you can’t just pop out for lunch etc so make sure you’re prepared with things to keep you entertained for your stay. “I booked this property beacuse it had good reviews, however to my disappointment it wasnt the case. “The Glass House is possibly the best accommodation and service we have experienced in over 40 years of exploring this wonderful country. The house design and location are breathtaking. The views are spectacular (make sure you are up for dawn). On site Chef Kevin made traditional Sri Lankan meals of exceptional quality.
