While the price was good/cheap ($99) the room itself was not very clean. Dusty and there was some rubbish left in the bathroom sink. The location is excellent. I feel a deep clean was required. The room itself was quite unique being in an older building and could use even a slight upgrade with nice decor would make a difference.

The room itself was pretty dirty. Lots of built up dust underneath furniture and appliances. The air con worked great, no issues there. Check-in was straight forward and easy. The location is great. 3 minute walk from Flinders and ease if access to Melbourne. It could use a bit of care, but you get what you pay for and it served its function as a short-term stay.

Didn't interact with any staff due to a late check-in and very early check-out, but I didn't mind that. Instructions for after hours check-in were straightforward, and easy to follow, much appreciated! Room was clean and organised, and I liked the toiletries provided, very useful as I'd forgotten mine for that trip. Overall, I had no issues, and will very much book here again when staying in the city.

Negatives: The room was unclean - visible dust and dirt along edges of the room, visible black mould in the bathroom, hair dryer did not work, door trims are coming away from the wall in the bathroom reflecting poor maintenance. Positives: bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom supplies were provided, good location.
