Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. Although the listing stated the property could sleep up to 10 people, the booking process was confusing and we were required to pay extra after arrival.The house was not clean or well maintained. The kitchen sink was filthy, the tap faulty, and there was very limited cutlery, dishes, towels, and toiletries. We found laundry from previous guests, cockroaches in the kitchen, spiders and cobwebs throughout the house, dirty windows, unvacuumed carpets, and limescale in the bathrooms. A bathroom door also came off its hinges, and the walls showed visible marks and poor patchwork.Several advertised amenities were inaccurate or unclear. A sofa bed was initially denied, bedding was locked away, many lamps were unusable, and the TV remote had no batteries, requiring us to buy our own. The exterior was poorly maintained with overgrown weeds, and the BBQ was far too small for a group of 10.Communication with the host was uncomfortable and dismissive when concerns were raised. Given the high cleaning fee, it was frustrating that we had to clean the property ourselves just to make it livable. While the house has potential, we would not stay here again.
