Sleeping 11 guests over 4 bedrooms, it is an excellent home for families.

THE HOME
From the moment you arrive, you'll feel the sense of space and privacy. Set on a fully fenced block with off-street parking, Moonbay offers a peaceful escape while remaining close to everything. Inside, the home has been thoughtfully reimagined with fresh interiors, brand-new furnishings, and a light-filled, open-plan design that brings everyone together.

The heart of the home is the expansive kitchen, dining and living area, where walls have been opened to create seamless flow and connection. Morning coffee at the island bench turns into long lunches, sunset grazing platters and relaxed evenings on the couch with a glass of local wine. Every detail has been designed to feel welcoming, stylish and comfortable.

Step outside and the holiday lifestyle truly begins. Host summer BBQs in the private backyard, dine alfresco under the open sky, or gather around the fire pit as the sun sets and the coastal air cools. The secure yard makes it easy for families to relax, while couples and friends will love the space to unwind in complete privacy.

Moonbay comfortably accommodates families and groups across four generous bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, slow cooker, toaster and coffee machine, making entertaining effortless. Wi-Fi, a smart TV with Netflix, books and games for adults and children, blackout blinds for restful sleep, a washing machine and dryer, and a spacious main bathroom with a bathtub ensure every stay feels easy and considered.

The home has been recently updated with new window furnishings, featuring both sheer and blockout blinds throughout. These offer the perfect balance of natural light during the day and full privacy and darkness when needed, enhancing comfort for a relaxing stay.

Beyond the front door, the best of the Mornington Peninsula awaits. Spend your mornings swimming in crystal-clear waters, your afternoons exploring coastal trails or boutique wineries, and your evenings dining at local cafés and restaurants just minutes away. The Peninsula Hot Springs, championship golf courses and scenic lookouts are all within easy reach.

Moonbay in Rye isn't just a holiday house. It's a place to reconnect, celebrate, rest, and create lasting memories by the sea.

The house is on a residential street with permanent residents, so we only rent to mature guests who will be respectful of our neighbours. The house is to be used for relaxation-style holidaying; loud parties are prohibited.

Bedroom 3: 2x Single Bunk Beds & 1x Single Floor Mattress ( 5 guests)
Bedroom 4: 1x Single Bunk Bed (2 guests)

What to bring: fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillowcases, beach towels, bath towels, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats.

Guests have the choice of:

BYO Linen / Towels - Guests bring their own fitted sheets, flat sheets and pillowcases for each bed. Guests also bring their own beach, bath and tea towels along with hand towels and bath mats. Refer to the home's description for the bedding configurations.

Linen Set Hire - Guests can hire a full linen set for $30 per bed, including a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcases. Bunk beds are classed as two beds. All beds are the same price.

Towel Set Hire - Guests can hire a towel set for $10 per person, which includes 1 bath towel and 2 tea towels (for the first ordered towel set only).

Bathroom Set Hire - Guests can hire a bathroom set for $10 per bathroom, which includes a bathmat and a hand towel.

Delivery Fee - If any items are hired, there will be a one-off delivery/set-up fee of $40.

We ask all guests to please clean the BBQ after use, or a $50 fee will be charged.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
Access details will be available for you to enter directly at the home; therefore, unfortunately, we will not have a chance to meet, but this provides a simple and convenient way for you to enter and depart the home. We can be reached via the booking platform anytime during your stay, and we will provide our office number if you need us urgently. We want to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Thank you.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly. Your guest guidebook/house manual (linked in your welcome message) also includes recommendations on things to do in the area, dining options, and local attractions.
