For those of you with larger families, you can search for the attached (but separate) studio apartment located above the carport: PALM VIEW (Property #2068644). Only the driveway is shared.

Palm Point was built in 1950 by one of the founders of Melbourne Village. The design is unique with all the rooms exiting to an expansive porch loaded with casement windows for an excellent view. The home still carries its historic feel, yet with modern amenities. It is a natural park-like oasis in the middle of the city of Melbourne in coastal central Florida. Everyone loves Melbourne Village. It is one of the most sought out communities to live in all of the Space Coast! We have a playground and basketball court. The townspeople are extremely friendly and traffic is minimal. Many of the lots are a full acre with lots of large, mature trees.
It's just 7 miles to the beach, 30 minutes to Cocoa Beach, a few minutes to I-95, lots of dining options, Melbourne Square Mall, The Henegar Center for the Arts, FIT, Melbourne Airport, 2 movie theaters, lots of shopping, etc. You will find residents of the village out and about with their dogs, enjoying the beautiful trees, birds and tortoises. Nature lovers will appreciate the bird-watching (bald eagles, hawks, owls, and swallow tailed kites abound). Many wild rabbits and the back yard has 4 gopher tortoise holes, so they are out and about during the day as well. (They are a federally protected animal, so don't disturb/touch them.)
Personnel may be on premises to take garbage to the road or to do yard maintenance.
