Requested a city veiw room. Confirmed when checked in. Get to the room and it’s not a city view room. Went to the lobby in the morning to collect breakfast. Keycard didn’t work on the lift to get back up. Called the number at reception which then gives you another number to call. Called that no answer. Called again was told she would be down in a few minutes. 10 mins later called again then she let me up to my room to eat my cold breakfast. Have stayed here several times the person at reception prior to this stay was fantastic.

I stayed overnight at The Sebel Melbourne Malvern to attend a midnight Christmas church service. As expected, the property is within walking distance. The property is quiet and clean, and its proximity to Coles makes it an ideal choice for those wishing to cook and dine in during their stay

Great property, only thing I can fault it on was that they need to invest in some weather strips for the doors, it got very windy through the night and the whistle through the front door was terrible. Otherwise I can’t fault the place.

The location was convenient to Cabrini. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, clean.The Sebel Malvern is not exclusively a hotel. There were many student residents, which gave a different feel than expected of a hotel. Its location right on Dandenong Road means 4 lanes of traffic each way, trams nearby and a train line. It was really noisy all day and all night.

The Sebel is clean and convenient if you're in Caulfield or Malvern East. There's a Coles across the street, a train station is nearby, and there are lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Monash University is about.a 3 minute walk. But the place is really noisy. It's next to Dandenong Road and the train lines. If you stay there, bring ear plugs.

we had an apartment on level 4. i might as well have slept on the street. it was as if cars were driving through my room. Being situated on a main road, thick curtains might be better than the cheap blinds or even better thicker windows to reduce the noise. wont be staying there again.

We stayed as a family of 3 during the 2025 F1 Grand Prix. The location was excellent; easy to navigate to via motorways & major arterial roads and trams/trains were very close offering plenty of options. The 2-bedroom apartment was clean & modern. There is a gym, spa and sauna in the complex which guests are able to use. Undercover & secure parking was available for $20/day. Sebel staff were courteous & efficient.
